One of the most consistent pitchers in the ASC. Is the HSU non-scholarship era career leader in innings pitched (242.2) and starts (39). Also second in career wins with 18.
2011: Has posted a 5-3 record and a 4.35 ERA as the Cowboys’ Friday night starter. Has allowed three earned runs or less in five straight starts. Earned the win against Trinity in his only relief appearance. 2010: had a solid campaign for the Cowboys earning second-team All-ASC honors after going 7-3 in 13 starts with a 5.15 ERA. Threw a complete-game in a crucial win over Texas Lutheran, striking out eight. Had 11 strikeouts in a win over Sul Ross state. Went the distance in a loss to Texas-Tyler in the ASC Tournament. Was awarded the ASC Sportsmanship Award for baseball and the Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship award. 2009: Was one of the Cowboys most consistent pitchers throughout the season. Had 11 starts and posted a 5-3 record with a 4.97 ERA. Allowed two earned runs or less in seven of his 11 starts. He started the season as the rightfielder when he did not pitch and hit .339 with four RBIs in 56 at-bats. Had three three-hit games. 2008: Had just one at-bat as a freshman, but worked 31.2 innings on the mound and posted a 1-1 record with a 9.95 ERA. Had five starts with the best coming against UT-Tyler when he allowed three runs over six innings. He earned a win out of the bullpen against Mississippi College.
