Wymore Named Special Teams Player of the Week

RICHARDSON, Texas- Hardin-Simmons freshman kicker Alexander Wymore has been named American Southwest Conference special teams player of the week.

Wymore nailed a game-winning 37-yard field goal with 37 seconds to play for a 13-10 road victory over East Texas Baptist. Wymore also had a 29-yarder to open the game's scoring and was good on his extra-point attempt. This season, he has now made two field goals that have given the Cowboys the lead in the final two minutes.

The Cowboys return to action Saturday against Howard Payne at Shelton Stadium. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
