Had his senior season cut short by a knee injury in the second game of the year. He received a medical hardship and will be back for his senior season. 2009: Was off to a great start to the season. He caught 11 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns against Whitworth and then had a 14-yard catch against Linfield before injuring his knee in the first half. Was named one of the top 18 scholar-athletes in all divisions of college football last season and was awarded the National Football Foundation scholar-athlete award. He received an $18,000 postgrad scholarship and went to New York City for the awards ceremony. Named academic all-ASC. 2008: Was one of the top return men in the conference and also made great strides in the receiving game. He moved outside midway through the year and had 42 catches for 685 yards and eight TDs. He averaged 24.4 yards per kick return. He set a school record with a 100-yard return against Sul Ross State. Set the school record with 1,181 kickoff return yards. Named the ASC Football Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year. Was first-team All-ASC as a receiver and second as a kick returner. 2007: Set a school record with 750 return yards. Had a pair of kicks returned for touchdown, a 92-yarder against Texas Lutheran and a 67-yarder against McMurry. Also served as the second slotback and had 17 catches for 242 yards and three touchdowns. Had a 79-yard touchdown catch against East Texas Baptist. Averaged 102.1 all-purpose yards per game. 2006: Played in six games as a freshman, recording four catches for 38 yards. High School: Played football and ran track at Mesquite High School.
