Five Cowboys Named To Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' football team had five players named to the The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society.

Alex Bell, Eric Chavez, Matthew Hawkins, Vic Rodriguez and Josh White were honored for their work in the classroom and on the field in their careers.

The Hampshire Honor Society consists of players from all divisions who have completed their careers, maintained a 3.2 or better cumulative grade point average and were starters or significant reserves.

This year 1,251 players from 302 schools in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA were named to the society.
