Thomas Anderson, a senior center from Granbury, was named first-team All-American by D3football.com. It was the fourth time in his career he was named All-American. He was named freshman All-American in his first season and then won honorable mention honors as a sophomore and was first-team All-American his junior and senior seasons. He was also named second-team All-American by Hewlett Packard and Football Gazette and was named first-team All-South region.
Sophomore defensive back Alex Hansen set a school record with nine interceptions on the year and was named first-team All-American by Football Gazette. He was also was named first-team all-region and third-team All-American by Hewlett-Packard.
Sophomore tight end Matt Moskosky was named second-team All-American by D3football.com. He had 45 catches in his first campaign with the Cowboys. He was also named first-team All-Region.
Sophomore guard Adam Hernandez was named all-region.
