Cowboys In Fourth At UMHB

KILLEEN, Texas — Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team shot a 299 and is in fourth place after one round of the Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational at the par-72, 7,198-yard Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen.

Tyler Mileger and Ryan Hughes each shot one-over par 73's to pace the Cowboys. They are in a tie for eighth place overall. Sean Aleman had a 76 Blaine King shot a 77 and Brandon Heard had a 78 in his first round as a Cowboy.
HSU is just seven shots of the pace of host school Mary Hardin-Baylor. Trinity is in second place with a 295 and Tyler Junior College is third with a 296.
Erik Long-Goheen and Geoffrey Setiawan, both of Trinity, share the individual lead with three-under 69s.

The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
