Cowboys End Season With Loss To Mississippi College

ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons’
men’s tennis team ended its season with a 5-0 loss to
Mississippi College in the American Southwest Conference
Championship on Friday morning at McMurry.
The Cowboys dropped all three doubles matches and fell behind
early in singles, losing the first set in five of the six singles
matches. Only Cullen Dees, won a first set for the Cowboys.
Mississippi College won at No. 6 singles and then finished the
match with a win at No. 2 singles. In tournament play the match is
finished when a team reaches five wins.
Hardin-Simmons finished the season with a record of 6-11.
Senior Stephen Salazar finished his career for the Cowboys. He was
the only senior on the team.
