Cowboys Drop Spring Break Opener
SHERMAN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team lost 7-2 to Occidental on Friday evening in Sherman to start a seven-match Spring Break trip.
The Cowboys received a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles by Erich Bein and Andy Cariens and Emmanuel Navejas teamed to win 8-5 at No. 2 singles.
HSU is now 2-4 on the year and the Cowboys will play Austin College and Hendrix on Saturday before flying to Oregon for four matches next week. Occidental improved to 2-6 on the year.
