Cowboys Defeat Schreiner 6-1

KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team remained undefeated in American Southwest Conference West Division play as they defeated Schreiner, 6-1, Wednesday afternoon in Kerrville.
Dusty Oglesby, who has been hot as of late, won both of his matches, at number one singles defeating Christian Sasam in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. Oglesby also teamed up with David Wu at number one doubles by beating Sasam and Jay Goven, 8-6. Wade Morgan and Tanner Reed won at number three doubles to earn HSU the doubles point by winning, 8-6, over Brent Coleman and Zach Browning.
The Cowboys won five of six singles matches, including Oglesby's victory. Wes Kidd defeated Goven in straight sets by scores of, 6-0, 6-3. Roy Lehman, Morgan, and Ryan Waters also won their singles matches with Lehman and Morgan winning in straight sets. Waters won on a 10-7 tie breaker in the third set to win the match.
The win finished regular season play for the Cowboys as they finished 7-0 in division play and are now set for the ASC Tournament which is to be played April 28-30.
