

Kelso Wins Trinity Shot Put
SAN ANTONIO, Texas —Hardin-Simmons men’s track team competed at the Tiger Twilight at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
Matt Rodriquez finished second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.27. George Calsadillas finished 12th in the 400 with a time of 51.36. In the 800 meter run, Adrian Parker finished tenth with a time of 2:08.30 and Kameron Hartsfield finished ninth with a time of 4:20.16 in the 1500 meter run. Matt Buchhorn finished fifth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 16:45.60.
Jose Bolanos finished fifth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:06.38. The 4x400 relay finished third with a time of 3:28.14.
In the men’s field events, Thomas Morgan finished fourth in the pole vault with 4.15m. Patrick Neville finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 5.90 meters. Brendon Kelso finished first in the shot put with 13.72 m, third in the discus with 39.51m, and third in the javelin with 51.25. Adam Clark finished fourth in the shot put with 12.51, 8th in the discus with 36.00, and 12th in the javelin with 37.51.
The Cowboys return to action this weekend at the American Southwest Conference meet at Hardin-Simmons.
