Will see plenty of action at the power forward position. Has the
ability to play facing the basket and also has a wide variety of
post moves. 2006-07: Became one of the Cowgirls top subs last
season in the post. Averaged 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game
and averaged 12.4 minutes per game. Had 10 points in a pair of
games on the year. Named academic All-ASC. 2005-06: Played in 13
games and averaged 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds. Had six blocks and
eight assists on the year. High School: Was first-team all-district
selection three years in a row and garnered academic all-state
honors as a senior at Shallowater High School. Personal: Daughter
of Mitchell and Pat Harris. Has two sisters, Heather and Lauren.
Lauren was an All-American basketball player at HSU. Communication
major. Born July 11, 1986. Choose HSU over Lubbock Christian,
Wayland Baptist, Howard Payne, and Seward County.
