HSU To Play Louisiana College on Friday at 3 p.m.

ABILENE, Texas - Game times and pairings for the American Southwest Conference Women's Basketball Tournament have been set and Hardin-Simmons will play Louisiana College at 3 p.m. on Friday at McMurry's Kimbrell Arena.

The Cowgirls, who go into the tournament with a record of 20-5, defeated Louisiana College in their only meeting this season by a score of 77-64 on Dec. 1 at the Mabee Complex. Louisiana College finished third in the ASC East and has an overall record of 16-8.

With a win, the Cowgirls would play the winner of the Texas-Dallas (21-4)/Mary Hardin-Baylor (13-12) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. McMurry (20-5) plays Texas-Tyler (15-10) at 8 p.m. and Mississippi College (22-3) and Howard Payne (20-5) play in the other quarterfinal game at 5:30 p.m.    

The finals of the tournament are slated for 2 p.m. on Sunday.
