2011: Started all 26 games at point guard and led the Cowgirls with 83 assists. She averaged 9.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Had a career-best 31 points in an overtime win over Saint Mary (Wis.) last season in the opener. She hit a career-best six 3-pointers. Had 10 assists in a win over Concordia. Had 11 double-digit games in scoring, including the final three of the year. Was named academic all-ASC and also named the ASC sportsmanship athlete of the year. 2010: Played in 19 games for the Cowgirls in her freshman season. Record 13 points against East Texas Baptist and Concordia. Had three games where she recorded four or more assists and had 21 on the year. High School: Was a three-year district MVP at Normangee High School. She led her team to the state tournament as a senior. Was also all-district and all-Brazos Valley three times. Was a first-team all-state selection and the MVP of the TABC all-star game. Daughter of James Hewitt and Alvina Cartwright. Has a brother, Jamie and two sisters, LaToya and Corinna.
