Cowgirls In Eighth At LeTourneau
LONGVIEW, Texas — Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team shot a 369 total and is in eighth place after the first round of LeTourneau Spring Classic in Longview.
Ragan Foos led the Cowgirls with an 89, Kacy Bartlett shot a 90, Traci Tschirhart shot 91 and Stephanie Jones had a 99.
Texas-Tyler leads Texarkana Community College by one shot 308-309 atop the leaderboard. Taminie Panich of Texas A&M International shot a 74 to lead the medalist race.
The teams will play 18 holes on Tuesday.
