

HSU Pushes Streak To 98
CEDAR PARK, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’
women’s soccer team pushed its American Southwest Conference
unbeaten streak to 98 games with an 11-0 win over Concordia
(Texas), Saturday afternoon at Cedar Park High School.
The Cowgirls got on the board in the 16th minute on a goal by
Morgan Loyd on an assist by Jordan Morley. Morley assisted on two
more goals at the 17:52 mark and at 26:35. The first came from Amy
Kuykendall and the second by Lindsay Cogburn.
A Sarah Stansell goal at the 30:21 mark of the first half on an
assist from Katie Dagenais to make it 4-0 at halftime.
Morley, Cogburn, Loyd and Stephanie Baker added single goals in the
second half and Cowgirl senior Cassie Sandifer had three goals in
the second half.
HSU dominated the game throughout, as they outshot Concordia 39-0.
Christi Carr worked in goal for the Cowgirls
The Cowgirls are now 5-2-2 overall and 4-0 in ASC play. Concordia
fell to 3-4-2 and 2-2 in league play.
