Cowgirls Beat LeTourneau, 6-1

ABILENE, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons’ women’s tennis team defeated LeTourneau, 6-1, in a non-conference match at the Streich Tennis Center on the HSU campus on Friday afternoon.

The Cowgirls won all three doubles and then won three of the four singles matches that were completed. Lisa Mertz won at No. 1 singles and doubles.

Morgain Rainer won at No 2 singles and Danielle Cochran won at No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles.

HSU will open ASC West with a 2 p.m. match at Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday afternoon. The Cowgirls improved to 3-1 with the win.
