Trinity College Beats Cowgirls To Open California Swing

CLAREMONT, Calif. — Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team lost to Trinity College on Monday afternoon at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Universities in Claremont, Calif.

Angie Nhan won her match at No. 2 singles of Caroline Gagne, 6-2, 3-6, 10-4. The rest of the Cowgirls lost in straight sets in singles play.

Trinity won all three doubles in convincing fashion as well.

Trinity is ranked No. 21 in the nation in the latest poll and is located in Connecticut.

The Cowgirls will play Babson College on Tuesday and then will play a couple of junior colleges to round out the trip after its scheduled matches with Williams and Occidental were canceled because of a scheduling conflict.
