Cowgirls Finish Third At McMurry

RESULTS

ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons women’s cross country team finished third at the McMurry Invitational on Saturday morning at Nelson Park in Abilene.

Lubbock Chrisitan won the team title with a score of 31, McMurry was second with a 53 and HSU was third with a 62. Dallas was fourth with a total of 79. Angela Cuba of the University of Dallas won the event with a time of 25:08.

Lindsey Hinton led the Cowgirls with a fourth place finish in a time of 25:29. Lydia Bjork was 12th with a time of 27:06 and Whitney Rankin was 16th with a time of 28:14.

Allison Robertson was 20th with a time of 28:39. Vanessa Montelongo was 24th, Maloree Kendall was 26th and Delanie Walker was 31st.
