COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Hardin-Simmons junior outside hitter Madison Reyes has been named an honorable mention all-America selection by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The Abilene native set the school record for kills in a season with 499 and she also hit .257 on the year and had 417 digs.

Reyes was named the American Southwest Conference MVP, was a first-team all-South region selection and was also named an academic all-district selection by CoSIDA.

She led the Cowgirls to a school non-scholarship era record in wins with 29 as HSU went 29-6 won the ASC title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
