Cowgirls Fall To Mary Hardin-Baylor

 

BELTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team fell 25-20, 28-26, 25-20 to Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference action at the Mayborn Campus Center in Belton on Tuesday night.

The Cru avenged their only loss of the season with the win.

Morgan Prince led the Cowgirls with 10 kills on just 18 swings for a .444 hitting percentage. Megan Bauer had 13 digs, Leecia DePaula and Allison Kuster added 12. Ashley Pierce had a double-double with 17 assists and 11 digs.

Miranda Klein had 11 kills for the Cru. Natasha Evans had 27 assists and 17 digs, The Cru had 13 blocks in the match and Sarah Paolini was in on 11 of them.

HSU is off until next Tuesday when it plays at Concordia. The Cowgirls are now 8-12 on the year and 5-4 in conference play. UMHB improved to 15-1 on the year and 7-1 in ASC play.
