ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team won 2-0 over the University of the Ozarks Eagles on Thursday night at the HSU Soccer Complex in American Southwest Conference play.
The Cowgirls kept the pressure with 25 total shots to the Eagles' five but weren't able to finish any others, getting the win 2-0.
Six of the Cowgirls' 25 shots were on goal and one of Ozarks' shots was on goal. The Cowgirls also had 13 corner kicks to Ozarks' one.
Haley Foley started at keeper for the Cowgirls and had one save on the night. Ozarks goalie Kiara Henry had four saves in the loss.
The Cowgirls win their eighth straight to make it 8-2-1 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. Ozarks falls to 5-4-3 and 2-3 in the ASC. The Cowgirls will host Texas-Dallas for a big conference matchup on Saturday at 5 p.m.
