Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team dropped a pair of dual matches in American Southwest Conference play to the Mary Hardin-Baylor Cru and the Texas-Dallas Comets on Friday at the Streich Tennis Center.
 
Hardin-Simmons fell 8-1 to UMHB in the morning and played UTD to an 8-1 defeat in the afternoon at home.
 
Laurel Coleman took both of her flight one singles matches for the Cowgirls on the day against the Cru and the Comets. Coleman defeated Kittredge 6-2, 6-1 against UMHB and won 6-4, 3-0(ret.) on a withdrawal against Jackson of UTD.
 
Three Cowgirls lost in split sets in singles competition against the Cru and one doubles match went to tiebreakers in the loss.
 
The Cowgirls fall to 8-10 and 1-2 in ASC play and will have a weekend off to prepare for the American Southwest Conference Tournament beginning April 25.
