Box Score GEORGETOWN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy tennis team dropped a match 9-0 to the Southwestern Pirates on the road Friday afternoon.
 
Luke Cantu and Justus Petersilie went to a tiebreaker all the way to the final point in the first doubles match, going down 8-7(9-7) for the Cowboys playing Roy and Snyman.
 
Cantu forced a 12^th set in the second singles flight to fall 6-2, 7-5 to Snyman of the Pirates.
 
Zach Fowler also fell in a tiebreaker and split set 2-6, 7-6(7-4), 1-0(11-9) in the third singles match against Clemente.
 
Jordan Oberbillig took the first set in a tiebreaker but lost another split set for the Cowboys 6-7(1-7), 6-4, 1-0(10-8) at six singles against Rajesh.
 
The Cowboys fall to 6-8 and have a big ASC match on Saturday at Concordia Texas beginning at 2 p.m. in Round Rock.
