DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl cross country team had Jasmin Mendez at the front of the pack for Saturday's 5k race at the Dallas Baptist Old Glory Gallop.
 
Mendez finished in 113^th out of 330 runners for a time of 19:48 at DBU for Hardin-Simmons.
 
Abigail Cox ran a race of 21:05, Hope Fuentes came in with 22:42, Alexis Heckathorn finished in 26:18, and Faith Miller also competed for the Cowgirls.
 
Hardin-Simmons will line back up to race at Southwestern in Georgetown, Texas on Oct. 18 next Saturday.
