CLAREMONT, Calif. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl cross country team wrapped up the 2025 season with four runners at the NCAA Division III West Regional championship hosted by Pomona-Pitzer in California on Saturday afternoon.
The Cowgirls advanced with four runners to the NCAA West Regional championship who were top finishers at the ASC championship race.
Jasmin Mendez led all Cowgirls with a No. 80 finish of 24:34 in the 6k race in California.
Abigail Cox placed No. 133 with a time of 26:50 in the race.
Ruthie Valdez ran a 6k in 28:30 for Hardin-Simmons and placed No. 152 while
Hope Fuentes raced a 29:20 and placed No. 155 for HSU at Pomona-Pitzer.
