Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team finished the 2025 season at the NCAA tournament first round in a loss to the Trinity Tigers by a final score of 5-0 in San Antonio.
 
The Cowboys returned to the NCAA tournament after winning the ASC championship for the second straight year ad earning the conference automatic bid.
 
Hardin-Simmons went head to head with the Tigers until Trinity scored in the 42^nd minute with a rebounded shot saved by Carson Null. Null finished the game with saves for the Cowboys.
 
Trinity added two goals on penalty kicks and finished with a 5-0 win over the Cowboys on Saturday night in San Antonio.   
 
The Cowboys end the year with a second straight ASC championship and trip to the NCAA tournament.
