Willis, Barnett, Thiessen, And Floyd Named All-Region By United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl soccer team had four named to the United Soccer Coaches all-region teams, announced on Tuesday.
 
Kalea Willis, Tatum Barnett, Presleigh Thiessen, and Belle Floyd were each named to the United Soccer Coaches all-region teams for the 2025 season.
 
Willis was named first-team all-region and named all-region for the third time in her career. The senior defender started 16 games and helped the Cowgirl defense only allow 13 goals in 17 total games. Willis was named all-ASC first-team and picked up the third all-ASC recognition of her career.
 
Barnett was named second-team all-region for the Cowgirls as a freshman. She scored eight goals to lead HSU in her first season and was named all-ASC first-team in the midfield and named ASC all-tournament.
 
Thiessen was also named second-team all-region for the Cowgirls. The senior forward was named the ASC Offensive Player of the Year with four goals and five assists. She was named first-team all-ASC and ASC all-tournament as well for the ASC champion Cowgirl team.
 
Belle Floyd was named third-team all-region for Hardin-Simmons as a midfielder. The senior scored four goals and had two assists while starting every game for the Cowgirls. Floyd was named first-team all-ASC at midfielder for Hardin-Simmons in 2025 as well.
