NEW ORLEANS, La. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy high jumper Gunner Helm was named a second-team All-American by the USTFCCCA in the indoor season after finishing No. 10 in Division III at the NCAA Championships.
 
Helm joins Malik Pratt and Davare Payne as the third Cowboy to ever be named an All-American for the indoor season.
 
Helm set the record for the indoor high jump at HSU with a 6-8 ¾ ft. jump, which he matched to take tenth place at the NCAA Championships last weekend in New York.
