BULLARD, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team finished in third place at the Eagles Bluff Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard.
 
The Cowgirls shot 329-333-662 to place third overall. Mary Hardin-Baylor won the tournament with a score of 318-305-623. East Texas Baptist was second at 637. HSU was followed by LeTourneau (677), Millsaps (683), North Central Texas (705), Schreiner (710), Jacksonville (744), Collin County (777) and Lyon College (857).
 
Shay West recorded another top 10 with a 78-78-156 to place tied for sixth. Ella Campbell was 14^th overall with an 80-82-162. Aly Navarro finished with an 86-87-173. Allison McGinnis shot 92-86-178, Julia Hughes shot 85-93-178 and Brooke Wooldridge shot 91-90-181.
 
Annie Piggott of Millsaps won the tournament with a 74-73-147.
 
HSU will return to action in the American Southwest Conference Championship on April 25-27 at the Hideout Golf Club in Brownwood.
