DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team picked up major awards from the American Southwest Conference in the 2025 end of season honors voted on by the league head coaches, announced Tuesday.
Sydney Tomlin was named the 2025 ASC Co-Freshman of the Year for the Cowgirls. She went 2-2 in conference singles action and 3-0 in doubles for Hardin-Simmons. Tomlin had an outstanding run in the ITA individual tournament in the fall as well, going all the way to the consolation finals.
Graduate
Jonnah Smith was named to the ASC Sportsmanship team for the Cowgirls in her fifth season.

Laurel Coleman were named first-team all-ASC in flight one doubles. Freshman Cowgirl
Emma Curiel was named first-team all-ASC in singles flight five to round out the first-team selections. Coleman earned her third all-ASC honor at doubles.
Coleman was also named all-ASC in singles on the second team for flight one, her third singles honor of her career. Freshman
Taylor Levy was named all-ASC second-team for the fourth flight of singles. Levy and Tomlin were named all-ASC second-team for doubles flight two as well.
The Hardin-Simmons doubles team of
Addyson Tylaska and
Halle Smith were named all-ASC second-team in flight three doubles. The juniors picked up their first ASC accolade of their careers.
