DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl volleyball team was picked third in the 2025 American Southwest Conference volleyball preseason poll, voted on by the league head coaches and directors of sports information.
Two senior Cowgirls were named 2025 ASC Players to Watch,
Abbi Allen and Liz Keidl. Allen and Keidl were named first-team all-ASC last season at right side and outside hitter and were the top two in kills for the Cowgirls with 216 and 298 kills, respectively.
Hardin-Simmons collected 18 points in the poll, followed by Howard Payne with 11 points. Mary Hardin-Baylor was picked second with 19 points, and East Texas Baptist led the poll with 32 points and eight first-place votes.

Kendall Crisp ended the 2024 season with a record of 14-11 competing in the semifinal of the ASC tournament. HSU has six returning players that were named all-ASC last season and will start the 2025 year on Aug. 29 with two matches hosted by the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
