DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy cross country team was picked to finish second in the 2025 American Southwest Conference men's cross country poll, voted on by the league head coaches and announced Friday.
Hardin-Simmons was ranked second in the poll with seven points, followed by Mary Hardin-Baylor with five points. East Texas Baptist led the poll with seven points.
Two Cowboys were named ASC preseason runners to watch.
Noah Bela was named the ASC newcomer of the year in 2024 and
Aiden Seekins was the ASC freshman of the year for the Cowboys last season. Both were named all-ASC runners for Hardin-Simmons in 2024.

Isaac Hamilton,
Sydney Tencate, and
Joshua Hunter will get the running season started with a meet in Irving, Texas on September 6 hosted by the University of Dallas.
