DALLAS, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl cross country team was picked third in the 2025 American Southwest Conference women's cross country preseason poll, in a vote of the league head coaches announced Friday.
 
The Cowgirls finished with five points in the ASC poll. East Texas Baptist was second with six points, and Mary Hardin-Baylor was at the top with seven points.
 
The Cowgirls start the 2025 season on Saturday September 6 in Irving, Texas for a race hosted by the University of Dallas.
