ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team dropped a match to Concordia 1-0 on Tuesday night at the HSU Soccer Complex.
The Cowboys led in total shots, shots on goal, and corner kicks, but went down to the Tornados 1-0 on a goal in the 63
rd minute.
Hardin-Simmons shot 19 times with ten shots on goal and Concordia shot 11 times with four shots on goal. HSU had eight corner kicks to three.
Griffin Cardwell started in goal for the Cowboys and went the full 90 minutes with three saves in the loss.
The Cowboys fell to 2-3 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. against Centenary College at the HSU Soccer Complex.
