IRVING, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy cross country team placed first in the team score with 25 points at the University of Dallas Invitational 5k on Saturday.
The Cowboys had seven runners compete on Saturday.
Aiden Seekins finished in second place with a 17:38 5k time.
Noah Bela came in third place for the Cowboys with a run of 17:39 on Saturday morning.
Nathan Oxte ran 18:25,
Zack Strange came in at 19:01, and
Tate Strange ran 19:11. All three finished inside the top ten.
Carlos Alvarado ran a time of 21:55 for the Cowboys and
Austin Seekins also ran for the Cowboys in Irving.
The Cowboys will run at Schreiner on September 20 in Kerrville, Texas.
