HOUSTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy soccer team fell 1-0 to the University of St. Thomas Celts on a goal in the 85
th minute playing in Houston.
The scoreless match was broken in the last five minutes of play by the Celts to win the game 1-0.
Hardin-Simmons shot eight times with six shots on goal and UST shot 11 times with six shots on goal.
The Celts led with six corner kicks to two from the Cowboys.
Carson Null started at goalkeeper and went the full 90 minutes with five saves in the loss.
The Cowboys fall to 2-2 on the season and will play at home on Tuesday against Concordia Texas at 7:30 p.m. at the HSU Soccer Complex.
