ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' combined for seven College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team members among the Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball teams for 2025-26.
Three Cowboys joined the academic all-district team, junior
Asher Fleming with a 4.0 GPA in Business Administration, sophomore
Matthew Alexander with a 4.0 GPA in Exercise Science, and junior
Myles Amason with a 3.63 GPA studying Fitness, Recreation, and Sports Management.
Four Cowgirls were named to the academic all-district team. They were sophomore
Jacqueline Berry with a 4.0 GPA in Strategic Communication, senior
Caroline Croft with a 4.0 GPA studying Exercise Science, senior
Savannah Bennett with a 3.92 GPA in Exercise Science, and sophomore Mae'Syn Gay with a 3.84 GPA in Fitness, Recreation, and Sports Management.
Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District® recognition by communications directors and must have a minimum 3.50 GPA and meet high athletic standards.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
