Box Score COPPELL, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team won 4-3 against the ETBU Tigers on Saturday playing at Coppell high school in American Southwest Conference play to end the regular season.
 
The Cowgirls went down in three doubles matches and went on to win four of six singles flights.
 
Brenna Gordon won 6-3, 6-2 at two singles against Macquet to make it 2-1 ETBU.
 
Emma Curiel tied the match with a win at five singles in a split over Ford-Schartner, 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 to make it 2-2.
 
Addyson Tylaska won another split for the Cowgirls at three singles, defeating Ruiz Burkart 6-1, 5-7, 6-4.
 
ETBU pulled it to 3-3 before Abigail Diamond won the sixth and final point in the 4-3 match to clinch the win. Diamond won six singles 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (7-0) against Anding to win the day for HSU.
 
The Cowgirls improved to 8-12 on the year and 2-1 in the American Southwest Conference with the win over ETBU. Hardin-Simmons will head to the ASC women's tennis championship tournament beginning April 24.
