BELTON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl tennis team will play East Texas Baptist in the 2026 American Southwest Conference women's tennis championship tournament semifinal on Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. hosted at Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.
 
The Cowgirls will go back-to-back weekends against the Tigers of ETBU after defeating them in ASC play last week 4-3 playing in Coppell.
 
The Cowgirls return four players who competed in the lineup in the 2025 ASC tournament, Sydney Tomlin, Addyson Tylaska, Taylor Levy, and Emma Curiel. All four were named to all-ASC teams in 2025 for Hardin-Simmons as well.
 
The Cowgirls enter the ASC tournament as the No. 2 seed with a 2-1 record in the ASC after defeating Howard Payne and ETBU and dropping to the host school UMHB.
 
The following semifinal will be UMHB against Howard Payne at 2 p.m., with the winners of both semifinals playing Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. in Belton for the ASC championship.
