LA CROSSE, Wis. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowboy outdoor track and field team brought in athletes to compete in five total events and left the 2026 NCAA Division III championships on Saturday with three separate All-American individuals.
Senior
Gunner Helm, junior
Jahymeer Larkins, and junior
Davare Payne were each named an NCAA All-American for outdoor track in their respective events.
Helm placed eighth overall in the high jump and was named first-team All-American with a podium finish.
Jahymeer Larkins was named second-team All-American in the discus with a ninth-place finish at the championships.
Davare Payne was named second-team All-American in the long jump and competed in the triple jump championships as well.
The Cowboy 4x100m relay team of
Donovan Simmons,
Derrick Crump,
Jah'Shon Williams, and
Gray Albrecht qualified and ran in the NCAA championships in 2026. Albrecht, Williams, and Crump were all able to qualify for the championships in their freshman season at Hardin-Simmons.
