TYLER BRUNNEMANN, Baseball
2010-2013
Brunnemann is the career record holder at HSU in strikeouts with 186 and is the only player in the non-scholarship era to be drafted by an MLB team. He was selected by the Houston Astros and worked all the way up to triple A. He went 6-6 with 12 saves and had 185 strikeouts in 162.2 innings, while limiting batters to a .224 batting average. He was a four-time all-ASC selection at HSU and went 13-4 with 16 saves and a 2.12 ERA. He worked 144 and one-third innings in his career and set a non-scholarship era strikeout record with 186. 2005-2008
Carrillo was one of the top receivers in a long line of Cowboy greats. He was also a threat as a running back, quarterback and return man in different situations. He was a three-time all-ASC selection including two-times on the first team and was named a first-team all-American as a senior. He finished his career with 3,292 receiving yards, one of just three Cowboys to go over 3,000 yards for his career. He also ranks third in career receptions with 265 and is tied in receiving touchdowns with 38. He ranks fifth in all-purpose yards for the Cowboys. His 40 total touchdowns rank sixth all-time. He led the Cowboys to the NCAA playoffs on two occasions.
RACHEL GOOLD QUESADA, Women's Soccer
2001-2004
When Marcus Wood was hired, he knew he had to recruit better players to contend on a national level and Rachel Goold was the first superstar recruit that he landed. Goold, a native of Washington, came in and set a standard of work ethic and preparation that forced her teammates to rise to meet the expectations. She was a four-year starter as the goalkeeper and allowed just 28 goals in four seasons and in over 6,200 minutes in goal. As a senior, she saved 95 percent of the shots she faced and had a 0.19 goals against average. She had a record of 61-8-3 in goal for the Cowgirls. She was a four-time all-ASC performer and two-time all-region selection. She was a three-time academic all-district selection. She was part of three ASC titles.

Wagner is one of the top defensive backs in the history of the school and holds the all-time record for interceptions in a career with 23. He played in 47 career games for the Cowboys and was a four-year starter. He was twice named to the all-TIAA team and was an all-American. Wagner led all four of his teams to the NAIA playoffs and three of the teams won the NAIA playoffs. In 1993, the Cowboys spent three weeks ranked No. 1 in the nation. The Cowboys won at least one playoff game each of Wagner's years in the playoffs and in 1993 the Cowboys went to the NAIA Semifinals.
