Entering his third season as a Cowboy after missing last season to prepare for the MCATs. 2012: Played in 26 games as a sophomore, starting three. Had 13 points in a win over Mary Hardin-Baylor and 10 in a win over McMurry. Named academic all-ASC. 2011: Had a solid freshmen season for the Cowboys appearing in 24 of the 27 games. Recorded his first double-double for the Cowboys against Concordia with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Had a season-high of six assists against Schreiner. He averaged 19.1 minutes per game. High School: Was an all-district and all-region player for Coach Eddy Prather at Azle. Named one of the top 150 players in the state by TexasHoops. Personal: Son of Charlie and Diane Walter. Has three sisters: Robin, Emily and Julie all who played at the collegiate level. Robin played Basketball at HSU. Emily plays volleyball at Southwestern Oklahoma State and Julie is a swimmer at UT-Permian Basin. His mother, Diane, played softball at Texas A&M. Born September 1, 1992.
