Hardin-Simmons University

College Career 

• Spent two seasons at Frank Phillips.
• Played the 2021 season at HSU and started 33 games at DH and hit .339 with three HR and 39 RBIs.
• Named third-team all-ASC. 
• Went to UTD last season and played in four games. 

• Had a crazy first senior season when he started the year going 6-for-39 at the plate. He got the start on senior day and went on absolute tear. He had three hits against LeTourneau and went 13-for-24 over a seven-game stretch that also included the conference tournament.
• Finished the season with a .303 batting average with one home run and nine RBIs.
• Named all-tournament at the ASC Championship.
• Named academic All-ASC.

High School 

• Played at Trinity High School. 
• Played for the DFW Twins and coach Aaron Wimpee.  

Personal

• Son of Sandra Rodriguez and Angel Colon. 
• Has a sister, Keyra. 
• Exercise science major. 
• Birthday is Nov. 5.
