Biography

2013: Clay was the leader for the Cowgirls’ offensiveattack last season.  She knocked 50 hits, 41 RBI, and scored23 runs.  She had seven doubles and five home runs andfinished the year with a team best .442 batting average.  Clayrecorded 12 multi-hit games and recorded a season-high five hitsagainst UT-Dallas. 2012: Was named a first-team all-ASC Westselection after hitting .358 with two home runs and 14 RBIs. Sheplayed second base. Led the team with 39 runs scored. Had 12doubles and 26 walks on the year. 2011: Was a second-team all-ASCWest selection after starting a combined 40 games at shortstop andsecond base. She hit .336 with two home runs and 23 RBIs. HighSchool: Clay had a great career for Coach Collier at Abilene Wylie.Was a first team all-district utility player and made the all-bigcountry team. Personal: She is the daughter of Tommi Lin Clay. Sheis a Business Management major.
