• Played in all 27 games and started 21 as a freshman. 
• Had 13 double-figure scoring efforts. 
• Had a season-best nine assists against Southwestern. 
• Scored 15 points in a game on two different occasions. 
• Hit 39 3-pointers. 
• Distributed 87 assists on the year. 
• Named honorable mention all-ASC West. 
• Named to the ASC all-freshman team. 

High School

• Played for coach Joshua Blok at Nolan Catholic. 
• Was a two-time first-team all-district selection and a two-time second-team all-district selection. 
• Was honorable mention all-state as a sophomore and second-team all-state as a senior. 
• Played for Larry Holmes and the North Texas Strive. 

Personal

• Daughter of Anne and Fred Fernandez. 
• Has five brothers: Shawn, Walter, Richard, Daniel and David. Shawn ran track at UT-Arlington. 
• Nursing major. 
• Birthday is Feb. 21.
