WHO IS HOSS?

Hoss is more than a mascot. He’s the heartbeat of the team, the face of the university, and the bridge between athletics and the community.

On game day, he’s the one out front, charging through the tunnel, flag in hand, rallying the crowd before the first whistle ever blows. He doesn’t just lead cheers—he leads hearts. Hoss reminds every fan, player, and coach why they wear the colors. He rallies them, not just to play hard, but to play right.

Off the field, he’s just as vital. Visiting local schools, shaking hands with alumni, comforting nervous freshmen on their first week. Hoss listens, lifts, and leads. He’s the soul of a campus that believes in tradition, family, and purpose.
