Prior To HSU: Spent oneyear on the track team at UT-San Antonio, where she competed in thehurdles and the heptathlon. High School: Was a standout athlete atJim Ned High School where she was the district MVP as a senior.Also named to the 2A all-region and all-state teams as a seniorafter averaging 20 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior.Was a state qualifier in track and cross country and graduatedfourth in her class. She was academic all-state in cross country,track and basketball. Personal: Daughter of Ron and Gwen Allen. Hasa brother, Blake and a sister, Ashley.
