Andrew Loudermilk

Loudermilk is in his third season as the Hardin-Simmons assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

His success on the recruiting trail has brought several All-Conference players onto the roster in just two seasons, Nine players he recruited were named to the all-ASC team in 2026. 

He was part of the ASC coaching staff of the year. 

The Cowboys went 26-16 in 2026, the most wins at Hardin-Simmons since 2016. The Cowboys also set the school record for batting average (.346), on-base percentage (.422) and stolen bases (81). 

Caleb Reynolds also set the school record for strikeouts in a season with 86 and went 8-2 on the mound to earn first-team All-ASC and all-region honors. 

Catcher Ridings hit .425 with six home runs and 38 RBIs and was named an All-American by D3baseball.com. Ridings was also a first-team Academic All-American. 

Reynolds, Ridings, Gavin Bruning and Paul Samaripa all earned all-region honors. 

HSU also had 13 players named All-ASC. Bruning, Benji Fielder, Jacob Hollingsworth, Hunter Molinar, Reynolds and Hunter Trojacek were named first-team All-ASC. 

The Cowboys had a 3.39 GPA and had nine players with a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester. 

In his first year, he helped bring in three players after he was hired who ended up earning All-ASC honors. Freshman starter Jack Kimsey was named third-team All-ASC and Jake Trapani earned All-ASC first-team and all-region honors as a utility player, serving as a starting pitcher and designated hitter. 

He previously served at East Texas Baptist as he was the director of operations and assisted with the pitchers and catchers. He helped the Tigers to three straight American Southwest Conference titles and the first ASC tournament title in 2023.

The 2023 ETBU team advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series. The 2024 team also advanced to the NCAA Tournament and hosted a regional. He was part of the ETBU coaching staff that was named the ASC Staff of the Year for three straight years.  

He spent this past summer as the pitching coach for the Danville Dans in the prospect league.

A native of Pearland, Loudermilk played at the University of Houston-Victoria (NAIA).

Loudermilk graduated from UHV in May 2021 with a degree in business management and a degree in Human Resources. In January 2023, he earned his master’s degree in strategic communication from ETBU.
