Hardin-Simmons University

Schuman begins her fifth year as an athletic trainer at HSU. She handles men's and women's basketball, men's and women's tennis and the HSU Spurs.

Prior to that, she was a graduate assistant at ETBU working with the women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, and baseball teams and she worked Worked at McMurry for three years prior to coming to HSU and was part of the ASC Athletic Training staff of the year. She also interned with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League. 

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Southwest Athletic Trainers' Association and is Board Certified Athletic Trainer and Licensed Athletic Trainer in Texas.

She is a native of St. Clair, Mo. and is a graduate with a bachelor's in athletic training from Central College. She earned a master's of science from Northwest Missouri State. 

Sschuman married John in the summer of 2022 and they have one son.
