Jaxson Money is in his second year as a full-time assistant coach. He is an assistant strength coach and coaches the tight ends.
He helped tutor Christian Marshall to second-team All-ASC honors last year.
He spent three seasons at Texas A&M-Kingsville, coaching first running backs and then wide receivers.
Money is no stranger to the Cowboy program. He was a wide receiver for the Cowboys from 2016 to 2019 and played in 31 games on varsity. He was also a standout on special teams.
Following his playing career, he spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coaching both wide receivers and running backs.
He has both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Hardin-Simmons. He is originally from Abilene and played at Abilene Wylie.
